Robert L. Teague, Jr.

Robert L. Teague, Jr., 39, of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord and to receive his reward on Tuesday, October 26, 2010. He was a truck driver for the Coca Cola Company for seven years and was a supervisor at American Uniform Company for fifteen years. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer and Fannie Cross and John and Ruby Teague; aunt, Shirley Cross; step brother, Wayne Corbitt; and cousins, Scott Edward Sluder, Marissa Sluder and Rodney Cross. He is survived by his mother, Janet Cross Teague of the Black Fox Community, Cleveland; father, Robert Teague and wife, Rhonda of Cleveland; sister, Janice Rakestraw of Cleveland; brother, Aaron Teague of Cleveland; step brothers, Jason Corbitt and wife, Delores of Cleveland and Michael Allen and wife, Katie of Gainsville, GA; step sisters, Melissa Armstrong and husband, Shane of Cleveland and Miranda Allen of Gainsville, GA; special nieces, Erica Sewell and Baylee Rakestraw; great nephew, Jaxson Lane Waters; and special friends, Jackie Sexton, Robert and Kelly Bryson, Alan White and Lisa Staton. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Jackie Sexton, Robert Bryson, Michael Belcher, James Teague, Aaron Teague and Jason Corbitt serving as pallbearers. Alan White will serve as an honorary pallbearer. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
