Wilfred Gulliford, 94, a native of Wales and resident of Cleveland for the past 22 years, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010. He was ordained as a Presbyterian Elder in 1946 and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Cleveland since 1988, where he served as an elder and numerous other positions in the church. He was a faithful choir member and faithful member of the United Sunday School Class. He was previously employed and retired from the New York Port Authority. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice B. Gulliford and parents, Sydney and Emma Williams Gulliford; two daughters, Dawn Reichert and Janice O'Hara. Survivors include his children: Lyndhurst Gulliford and Shelby of Bluffton, SC; Susan Gulliford and George of Hillsborough, NJ; son-in-law, Roy Reichert of VA; five grandchildren: Catherine Jensen, Brian Gulliford, David Gulliford, Allan Reichert and Jeff Reichert; and thirteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Fike Funeral Home. Interment will be on Monday, June 28, 2010 in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ. The family suggests that memorials be made to First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 161 2nd St. NE, Cleveland, TN 37311.
