Wayne E. Renne'

Wayne E. Renne', 69, a resident of Cleveland, passed away June 20, 2010 in Rochester, NY. He attended Lebanon Baptist Church. He loved and supported St. Jude Children's Hospital. He retired from the U. S. Military as Chief Petty Officer of the U.S. Navy, entering the service in Jamestown, NY and serving from 1958 - 1989. He was employed with Bradley Memorial Hospital in the radiology department for 13 years. He was an avid golfer at Waterville Golf Course and a member of the American Legion, Vietnam Veterans and Disabled American Veterans. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackson C. and Ruth M. Thayer Renne'; first wife, Eva Renne'; daughter, Janice Brackett; sisters: Thelma Wolfe, Elizabeth Helfry, Carol Matthews and Barbara Renne'; brother, Bruce Renne'. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Renne' of Cleveland; children: Lyn Ledford and husband, John of Cleveland; Larry Osment of Somerset, KY; Roger Stewart of Cleveland; Jennifer Styles and husband, David of Greenback, TN; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Burl and Paul Contestable of Rochester, NY and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Lebanon Baptist Church with Pastor Richard McKeehan officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors. Bill Watson, Heath Ledford, Keith Ledford, David Ledford, Adam Bender and Eric Bender will serve as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Fike Funeral Home.
