Jennie Kathleen (Katie) Hash, 97, passed away June 5, 2010 in Chattanooga. She was born September 27, 1912 in Morristown, TN to Ida C. Goan Purkey and John L. Purkey. She lived in Morristown, Cookeville, Cleveland and Chattanooga. She Married Victor Edward (Edd) Hash in 1932 and they had been married over 62 years when he died in 1995. She was preceded in death by her parents and her four siblings. She is survived by her two children, John Robert Hash and wife Betty of Duluth, Georgia and Kathy Jane Hash Dagnan and Grady of Ooltewah; five grandchildren: Michael Robert Hash, John Victor Hash, Rebecca Carroll Hash Bowen, Denise Bolton and Tammy Harrelson; ten great grandchildren: Justin Michael Hash, Kristin Kimberly Hash, John Edward Hash, Elizabeth Megan Hash, Daniel Wayne Bowen, Rachel Carroll Bowen, Logan Duckett, Joshua Bolton, Nathaniel Parton and Ashley Harrelson. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday June 8, 2010 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Minister Dave Mellor officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with David Bowen, Daniel Bowen, Mark Harrelson, Nathaniel Parton, Logan Duckett and Dean Botting serving as pallbearers.
