Mayme Lee Brown

Mayme Lee Brown, 88, a resident of Nashville passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010. She was of the Methodist Faith. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker enjoying, gardening, antiques and sewing, she was also involved with the Nashville Ballet Society. She was the daughter of the late Fred Lee and Guissie Pitts Lee; also preceding her in death was her husband, Robert W. Brown, Jr. Survivors include her son, Michael Brown and wife Lien of South Carolina; daughter, Susan Ubico of Nashville; grandchildren: Michael Manion, Mark Brown, William R. Brown, Charles G. Brown, Mrs. Allison Wolverton and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Marshall Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Michael Minion, Mark Brown, William R. Brown and Charles G. Brown serving as pallbearers. Gary Mahlon Chumney and Edward Lee will serve as honorary pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
