Mamie Lee Stephenson, 86, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010 in a local hospital. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Mrs. Stephenson was a member of the Ocoee Garden Club and Cleveland's Creative Arts Guild. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Ernest Rymer and Ina Arthur Rymer; granddaughter, Michelle Masters; brothers: Carl Rymer, Ernest Rymer, Ralph Rymer and Donald Rymer; sisters: Aletha Bivens, Ernestine Rymer and Frances R. Kibler. Survivors include her daughter, Carlene Masters and husband Lanny of Cleveland, and her son, Mark "Steve" Stephenson and wife Janice of Cleveland; grandchildren, Jacob Alexander Stephenson and Billy Wayne Washer; sister, Billie Nipper of Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Bill Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Joel Nipper, Roger Forte, Greg Stafford, Tim McCraken,Eugene McCraken and Lonnie Jones serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the funeral home.
