Harold Lee Gage

September 30, 1942 — April 6, 2010

Harold Lee Gage, 67, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, April 06, 2010 following a one year battle with cancer. He was born on September 30, 1942 in Keokuk, Iowa. He later moved his family to Cleveland, Tennessee. He retired after being employed at M&M Mars for thirty years. He was a member of Philippi Baptist Church. A loving and unselfish man, Harold worked hard to provide good things for his family. Harold loved being with his family. His children and grandchildren will treasure many memories of Grandpa taking them on vacation trips, camping trips, fishing trips and especially trips to see his favorite football teamNotre Dame. His family is thankful for his wisdom and leadership and will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his son, Harold, brother, George and sister, June Heck. He is survived by his faithful and loving wife, Connie, of 46 years; his mother, Myrtle Heck; two sons, Adam Gage, Samuel Gage; two daughters, Cettina Gage and Annette Green; six grandchildren, Harold Gage, Jessica Green, Sarah Green, Samuel Gage, Jeremiah Gage, and Anna Grace Gage; two sisters, Debbie Anderson and Linda O'Day. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2010 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home, with Pastor Sam Hooker and Pastor Samuel Gage presiding. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the funeral home.
