Rose Marie Griffith

Rose Marie Chancey Griffith, 82, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010 at her residence. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devoted caregiver to others. She attended North Cleveland Church of God. She was preceded in death by parents, Albert Lee Chancey and Anna Chancey Johnson; brother, Ralph Chancey; and sisters, Doris Fair and Betty Jo Chancey. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wilburn Griffith; daughter, Jan Runyon and husband, Craig; son, Dennis Griffith; grandchildren, Kyle Runyon, Laney Runyon and Chancey Griffith; sister, Barbara Crox; special sister-in-law, Bobbie Ragsdale; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Mitch Maloney and Pastor Cecil Guiles officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Steve Chancey, Scott Chancey, Larry Fair, Barry Turpin, Ricky Butler and David Turpin serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
