Jacquetta D. Farmer, 67, a resident of Georgetown, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and dearly loved her family. She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Case and sister, Wanda Barnes. Survivors include her mother, Agle Hicks Case of Cleveland, husband, James Farmer of Georgetown; daughter, Stephanie Thurman and husband, Jeff of Knoxville; and two grandchildren: Carlye West and Jake Ward. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend David Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove ceremony concluding the service. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the funeral home.
