Charlotte Ann Hicks

Charlotte Ann Hicks, 66, a resident of Chattanooga passed away Friday, December 4, 2009 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Houston, TX. She was a veteran of the United States Army and she also worked with the Civil Service. She was a former employee of the Cleveland Post Office and was currently acting CFO of McKay Books Inc. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Isaac Hicks and Della Moore Hicks and sister, Martha Jean Hicks Burgess. Survivors include her longtime companion, Ann Jacobson; sister, Barbara Thomas and husband Bedford of Cleveland; brothers, John Roy Hicks and wife Mildred of Cleveland and Joe M. Hicks and wife Sue of Cleveland; nephews: Ricky Hicks, David Burgess, Jeff Burgess, Michael Thomas, Steve Thomas and Kevin Hicks; nieces, Vicki Hicks, Lori Lynn Blair and Lisa Archer. Private graveside services were held Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Flint Springs Cemetery. Fike Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
