Lucille T. Creasman

Lucille T. Creasman, 87, a lifelong resident of Calhoun went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2009. She was born May 17, 1922 to the late Leonard and Nola Thomas. For the past 40 years she was a member of Hiwassee Baptist Church. She was preceded in death after 66 years of marriage by her husband, J. M. Creasman. Survivors include her son, Ronnie Creasman and wife, Nancy of Raleigh, NC, daughter, Nancy Liner and husband, Michael of Calhoun; four grandchildren: Barry Creasman of Atlanta, Allison Creasman Marsh and husband, Bob of Raleigh, NC, Randy Liner and wife, Amanda of Calhoun, Justin Liner and wife, Nicole of Smyrna; five great grandchildren: Walker Marsh, Graham Marsh, Bailey Liner, Jaret Liner and Shelby Liner; brother, Leonard Thomas, Jr.; sister-in-law, Violet Creasman both of Calhoun. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 30, 2009 at Hiwassee Baptist Church in Calhoun with the Reverend Bill Sneed officiating. Interment will follow in Hambright Cemetery with Barry Creasman, Randy Liner, Justin Liner, Robert Marsh, Dale Goforth and Eddie Smith serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Fike Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
