Nancy Jacqueline Vaughn Moore, 69, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Friday, October 23, 2009 in a Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Moore had recently moved to Murfreesboro. She was a member of Crossway Baptist Church in Murfreesboro and a former member of Waterville Baptist Church in Cleveland. Nancy will be remembered most for her loving spirit and dedication to her family; her tireless commitment to the needs of others always came before her own. As a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Nancy overcame enormous physical challenges with an endless capacity for love and nurturing. We will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ethel Vaughn. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sonya and Larry Jones; son, Jeff Kennedy; grandchildren: Justin and Amanda Dunn, Tara Dunn, Lauren and Rick Mueller and Kayetlyn Jones; 3 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson; sisters: Shirley Huntsinger, Ernestine Huskey and her husband Roy and Wanda Frazier; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2009 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Allen Lovelace and Dr. Tony Long officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2009 in the New Friendship Cemetery with Justin Dunn, Rick Mueller, Brian Trotter, Bart Gross, Tommy Huskey and Frank Reece serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the funeral home prior to the service.
