Wallace Varnell

Wallace (Wally) Varnell, 63, resident of Sevierville, passed away Monday, August 31, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Katherine Varnell and father-in-law, Loy Smelcer. He is survived by his wife, Cindia Varnell; children, Kim Varnell, Tracie Varnell and Lorri Varnell; step-son, Chris Branam and wife Trisha; step-grandchildren, Mackenna and Castle; brothers, Winston Varnell and wife Ruth, David Varnell and wife Barbara, Dennis Varnell and wife Judy and Vance Varnell; sister, Nora Hilburn and husband A.C.; mother-in-law, Bonnie Smelcer; sister-in-law, Shirley Branch; brother-in-law, Johnny Smelcer and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2009 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Blackburn "Seaborn" Cemetery at White Oak. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
