Dennis D. Gamble

Dennis Gamble, 49, a resident of Cleveland, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 25, 2009 in a local hospital. He attended Union Grove Church of Christ. He was always a good provider for his family and loved to travel in his leisure time. He was employed for twenty-three years with Cooke's Food Store and was currently the meat department manager at the Supersaver Store on Springplace Rd. He was preceded in death seven months ago by his father, R.L. Gamble. Survivors include; his wife of twenty-four years, Kathy Gamble and his mother, Pearl Gamble both of Cleveland; children: Dwayne Gamble of Chicago, IL; and Scott Payne and wife, Rhonda of Cleveland; five grandchildren: Brittany Payne, Lacey Payne, Kailyn Payne, Taelyr Payne and Shayna Payne; two brothers, Luther Gamble, Larry and wife, Marian Gamble all of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Darren Fansler and Minister Jimmy Burns officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
