Sue Tate

Sue Snyder Tate, 68, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009 at the family residence. She was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Tate worked as Lab Technician for a local doctor prior to her retirement. Sue was a graduate of Bradley Central High School, class of 1959. She was preceded in death by her parents, C. W. "Shorty" Snyder and Allie Jane Moody Snyder; husband, A. L. Tate; brothers, Jack Gentry and Hugh "Buddy" Snyder and sister, Kathy Davis. She is survived by three sisters, Billie Ball of Cincinnati, Ohio, Nellie Lankford of Cleveland and Clara Walker and husband Charles of Cleveland; special friend and caregiver, Jennifer Massingill; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday May 26, 2009 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Robert L. Smith officiating. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009 in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the services.
