Pearl Marie Millard

Pearl Marie Millard, 90, a resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009 in a local healthcare facility. She was a very active member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. When she was able and in good health she was involved in her church work doing what she could for her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny B. McDowell and Lona J. Grissom McDowell; husband, Jess Millard and brothers: J.B. McDowell and Charles McDowell. She is survived by her sisters: Nannie Clayton Bradshaw of Georgetown, Ruby Matthews and husband, David of Riceville, Hazel Womac and husband, Selden, Margaret Talley , Nell Ingram and husband Kenneth all of Cleveland; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Lamar Dietz and Reverend Josh Brown officiating. Interment will be in Johnston Cemetery on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with her nephews serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
