Annie Marie Boring, 78, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday April 26, 2009 at the family residence. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. Before retiring, she worked for many years at Charleston Hosiery Mill and in local dry cleaning establishments. Mrs. Boring was a very loving individual and was good to everyone. She loved her sisters, nieces and nephews and was loved in return. She enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will Boring and Willie Boring; brothers, Clifford Boring and Harvey Boring, and niece, Sandra Corvin. She is survived by her sisters, Violet Heifner, Virginia Boring and Dorothy Boring all of Cleveland, Juanita Epperson of Georgia; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday April 30, 2009 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Reverend Lee Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in the Ruralville Baptist Church Cemetery in Tellico Plains. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the services.
