Benjamin "Benjie" Bryson, 39, a resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Bryson served with the United States Marines in the Desert Storm conflict. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan. He is survived by his wife, Tabitha Flowers Bryson of Cleveland; parents, James and Martha Sue Bryson of Cleveland; two children, Brandon Cooper and Dalton Turner of Cleveland; two sisters, Debbie Coleman of Walterboro, S.C. and Kim Keith and husband Tyler of Cleveland; father in-law and mother in-law, Bill and Beverly Flowers of Cleveland; brother in-law, Chris Flowers and Wendy Self of Soddy Daisy; nieces, Amanda Koons and husband Jimmy, Hilarie Keith and Kim Coleman; nephew, Todd Coleman and great niece, Baylee Koons. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Garland Long officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with David Moore, Alan Oliver, Kevin Brock, Jeremy Wilson, James Droke and Bo Long serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the services. The family will receive friends from 5-8 Monday at the funeral home.
