Rebecca Adelia Helton Bruce

Rebecca A. Helton Bruce, 36, a lifelong resident of Bradley County passed away Friday March 20, 2009 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cleveland. Rebecca was a very loving wife and mother. She enjoyed searching her family's genealogy. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles E. Helton, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Tim L. Bruce of Cleveland; daughters, Halley Carden and Morgan Bruce; son, Matthew Bruce all of Cleveland; mother, Nancy Brown Helton of Cleveland; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2009 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Moncrief officiating. Entombment will follow in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Hixon, TN., with Andrew Butler, Dal Brown, John Pace, Ron Bruce, Craig Cannon and Dennis Crick serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the services. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the services.
