Barbara Ann Crittenden

Barbara Ann Crittenden, 69, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday, March 15, 2009 in an Athens hospital. She was a homemaker, was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed crafts, sewing and quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Elsie Dodson; one brother, Raymond Dodson and one sister, Willie Goodwin. She is survived by sisters Eva Dixon and husband J.E. of Cleveland, Wanda Walker of Cleveland, Edith Goodwin of McDonald, and Joy Dodson of Atlanta, GA; two brothers: Dale Dodson and wife Rosa of McDonald and Buck Dodson and wife Jean of McDonald. Other survivors include two special friends: Connie Hall and Joanna McCuloch; special niece, Diane Barrera and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in the chapel at Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Marshall Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at the funeral home.
