George A. Wagner, age 64, a resident of Cleveland, passed away, Saturday, January 06, 2007, in a Chattanooga hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Wagner was retired from Lockheed Martin Technology Services in Huntsville, AL. He served as Chief Warrant Officer in the United States Army. He was affiliated with: U.S. Hessen #844 (American Canadian Lodge) AF&AM, Moslah Shrine in Fort Worth, TX, European Shrine Club in Heidelberg, Germany, Star of Germany No. 1 of Frankfurt, Germany, DeMolay and Rainbow Dad of Frankfurt, Germany, American Legion Post 81 and the VFW Post 2598 of Cleveland, TN.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Wagner.
He is survived by his wife of thirty six years, Edith R. Wagner of Cleveland; mother, Mary Yvonne Wagner of Cleveland; two sons and spouses: David Arnold Wagner and wife, Annissa Wagner of Chattanooga and Arthur Wayne Wagner and wife, Yoli Wagner from El Paso, TX; grandchildren: Nathan Naylor, Jacob Wagner and Spencer Wagner all of Chattanooga and Arthur Alexander Wagner of El Paso, TX; sister, Ruth Scoggins and husband David Scoggins of Cleveland; sister, Judy Weiss and husband, Don Weiss of Sweetwater; brother, David Lee Wagner of Cleveland; aunts and uncles: James and Joyce Wagner, Buck and Clara Wagner, Ollie Mae Hicks, Margaret Leamon, and Willie Ruth Young; and his beloved pets: Tucker, Lucky, Cuddles, Rusty and Chase.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Reverend Beecher White officiating.
