Ethel Collette Tinsley, age 95, a resident of Cleveland, passed away, Wednesday, November 22, 2006 in a local healthcare facility after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late William P. Frazier and May O'Neal Frazier. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Luther M. Collette, her second husband, Rando R. Tinsley; seven brothers; three sisters and one step son, Lee Randall Tinsley.She was a member of Prospect Church of God where she was an active member until her health declined. She was a person who loved the Lord, her church, her family, her friends and loved helping people in need.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Collette Headrick and husband, Julian C. Headrick of Cleveland; two granddaughters, Julia Ann Bailey and husband Paul Bailey of McDonald and Lisa Ellis of Chattanooga; one great grandson, Harley Joe Bailey of McDonald; one sister, Lorraine Griffith and husband, W.C. Griffith of Cleveland; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Frazier of Cleveland and Pearl Kaiser of Chattanooga; one step son, Reverend Norvin Tinsley and wife Emma Lou of Cleveland; two step daughters, Laura Jean Hysinger and husband, Kenneth Hysinger and Judy DeLude also of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Isaac Hicks officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with the release of a flock of white doves concluding the service.
