Wayne Lee Stonecipher
Wayne Lee Stonecipher, 55, a life long resident of Cleveland, passed away November 27, 2008 in a local hospital.
Mr. Stonecipher was of the Baptist faith. He was employed with J. & J. Drywall for 35 years. One of his favorite pastimes was working on computers.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Joyce Jones Stonecipher; grandparents, Paul & Clarsie Jones and W.O. and Irene Kile Stonecipher.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Melissa Stonecipher of Cleveland; parents, Arless E. and Lottie F. Stonecipher of Ooltewah; 3 daughters: Clea Stonecipher of Cleveland, Kayla Cross of Turtletown and Allison Longwith of Cleveland; 2 grandchildren: Alexandra Brand and Taylor Brand both of Benton; 1 sister, Rita Kaye Chapman and husband, David of Higdon, AL; 1 brother, Jimmy W. Rose of Jay, OK; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lee and Harriet Barnes of Blue Ridge, GA and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 1, 2008 at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Jimmy Bell, Johnny Ensley, Robert Ellison, Eric Dunn, Tanner Cochran and Hoyt Johnson serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 P.M. on Monday prior to the graveside service.
His family will receive friends from 4 to 8 P.M. Sunday, November 30, 2008 at the funeral home.
