Betty Jean Rogers

Betty Jean Rogers, 72, a resident of Cleveland passed away December 9, 2007 in a local hospital. She was a dedicated life long member of the Lebanon Baptist Church. She was retired from Michigan Avenue School where she worked in the cafeteria for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Arvil Wilson and Margaret Kirkpatrick Wilson, husband; Clarence O.D. Rogers, brother; Charles Wilson, infant son; Michael Dale Rogers.

She is survived by daughters; Peggy Mooneyham and husband David, Patty Bender and husband Eric both of Cleveland, grandchildren; Adam Bender, Chad Bender, Emily Mooneyham and Jacob Mooneyham all of Cleveland.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lebanon Baptist Church with Pastor Richard McKeehan and Pastor Danny Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Lebanon Baptist Church cemetery with Eric Osborne, Pee Wee Park, Cletis Ledford, Derek Bender, Ryan Lovelace, Corey Lovelace, James Patterson, and Billy Watson serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. December 10, 2007 at the funeral home.
