Bonnie Elizabeth Raburn, 87, a resident of Cleveland and a former resident of McMinn County, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2007 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of the Charleston Church of God. She had a loving and big heart and always thought of others before herself.She loved her family and her church very much. She loved gardening and shared with family, friends and neighbors.
Mrs. Raburn was the daughter of the late Frank and Rosa Osborne and she was the last of their thirteen children. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Raburn.
Survivors include her daughter and spouse: Norma Jean and Bill Lewis of Cleveland; two sons and spouses: Rondell and Barbara Raburn and Joe and Judy Raburn all of Cleveland; five grandchildren: Brian Lewis, Angela Bogart, Rondell Raburn Jr., Joan Thurmond and Jon Raburn; eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted by at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Fike Funeral Home prior to the service.
