Joseph (J.C.) Prince, 78, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008 in a Lake City, FL hospice facility.
He was an ordained minister and pastor with the Church of God of Prophecy for numerous years and ordained with H. Richard Hall Ministries. He enjoyed all types of gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph W. Prince and Johnnie Alma Goodner Prince; son, Joe Prince and mother of his children, Ina Prince.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Prince of Lake City, FL; daughters and sons-in-law: Emma Blevins and Wayne Bannister of Ranger, GA, Evelyn and Wayne Johnson of Cleveland, Priscilla and Steve Sudduth of Rydal, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Sharon Prince of Cleveland; step children: Kathy and Jim Johnson of Lake City, FL and John and June Renzulli of SC; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and one aunt, Theresa Gilbreath of Ormond Beach, FL.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Sister Margie Menton Poteet and Charles Poteet officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery with John Renzulli, Jim Johnston, Johnny Brogden, Donnie Pell, Brent Pell and Ray Wright. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
His family will receive friends from 5 - 9 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
