Robert Frank Parker, 82, a resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 at a nursing home facility in Meigs County. Mr. Parker was of the Baptist faith.
He was a retired construction worker for TVA. Mr. Parker was a hard worker; he enjoyed making a garden when his health permitted. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as horse back riding and fox hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Corbett Parker and Ina Masoner Parker; three brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Dania Parker; daughter, Janni Samples and her husband Mike of Cleveland; one granddaughter, Michaiah Samples of Cleveland; one sister, Betty Collins of Birchwood.
Funeral servives will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Mimister David Webb officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the services.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
