Lois Ramona McLain

Lois Ramona McLain, 74, a resident of Cleveland passed away Friday September 19, 2008 at the family residence. Mrs. McLain was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.
Mrs. McLain was retired from American Uniform where she worked for 30 years as company nurse. She enjoyed crafts and was always willing to help others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. McLain; parents, Theodore Roosevelt Petit and Susie Fowler Petit
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Simmons and husband Joe Simmons, Tammy Timmons of Cleveland, Kimberly Hammersmith of Maryland; grandchildren, Ashley Gaither, Travis Simmons and Cody Simmons of Cleveland, Steven M. Hammersmith and Cary D. Hammersmith of Maryland; great grandchildren, John Aaron Gaither and Julia Savannah Gaither.
Interment will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2008 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Minister Jeff Archey officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday September 23, 2008 at Fike Funeral Home.
