William Franklin 'Chuck' McDaris II

William F. Chuck' McDaris, II, 53, of Jasper, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2007 at his residence. He was of the Methodist faith. Mr. McDaris loved to fish and especially enjoyed deep sea fishing. He was a special person that will be remembered by his smile and always putting others before himself. He was a blessing to everyone he met and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, William F. McDaris, I and brother, Thomas Andrew McDaris.
He is survived by his mother, Virginia McDaris of Cleveland; sister, Lynne Goodman and husband, W.L. Goodman, II of Signal Mt.; a host of aunts, cousins and many friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. May 31, 2007 in the sanctuary at Broad Street United Methodist Church with Reverend Andy Ferguson officiating.
His family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Nave at the church.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501, St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
