Bob Lonas

William Robert "Bob" Lonas, 61, a resident of Decatur and formerly of Cleveland passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 at the family residence. He was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church. Mr Lonas was the owner of T.A.G. Construction Company, doing work for Cleveland, Bradley County and Meigs County. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. "Bill" Lonas and Evelyn Bales Lonas. He is survived by his wife, Gena Lonas of Meigs County; daughter, Shannon Swafford of Smyrna, Tn.; grandchildren, Brandon Maney and his wife Holly and Daelyn Swafford; one brother, Randy Lonas. A memorial serice will be held at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2008 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Jack Lonas officiating. The family will recieve friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. His family request memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 850 Fortwood Street, Chattanooga, TN. 37403.
