Alice Lawson, 64, of Cleveland passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the family residence. She was of the Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Nichols and Dovie Stewart Nichols.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Clyde Lawson of Cleveland; son, Randy Lawson and very special daughter-in-law, Michelle; daughters: Judith Humberd and husband, Jason and Lisa Lawson; 2 grandchildren: Brittany Lawson and Laranda Lawson all of Cleveland; brother, John Nichols of Cleveland, Melvin Nichols of Athens and James Nichols of OK; sisters: Frances Jones of MI and Abbie Russell of Benton and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Grady Simpson officiating. Interment will follow in Council Baptist Church Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
Her family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
