Joseph Max Lane, 46, a lifelong resident of Bradley County, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at a Chattanooga hospital. He was of the Baptist faith.
He loved music, gardening and football games. Mr. Lane was a man with a very kind heart and a person whom people liked. He was employed with Cigna Insurance Company.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Lane; grandparents: Jim "Lyde" and Viola Lane, Lloyd "Tony" and Lena Maddux.
He is survived by his father, Joseph D. Lane of Cleveland; sister, Cheryl Allen and husband, Shawn of Ocoee; brother, Tim Lane and wife, Katy of IL; niece, Mallory Lane of Cleveland; nephew, Adam Lane of IN; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2007 at Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Byron Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2007 at the funeral home.
