Julian Cleland Headrick age 74, a resident of Cleveland, passed
away Saturday April 14, 2007. He was of the Baptist faith. He
was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Headrick was a retired
auto and diesel mechanic. He was employed by Bryant Motors
and Cleveland Express Inc. for 38 years. He loved to fish and
make garden. He was preceded in death by his father, Deo
Headrick; sisters, Jeanette Headrick and Marcell Lents.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Joyce Collette Headrick
of Cleveland; daughters, Julia Ann Bailey and husband Paul
Bailey of McDonald, Lisa Ellis of Chattanooga.; mother, Dorothy Headrick of Chatsworth, GA; one grandson, Harley Joe Bailey of McDonald; two brothers, Lamar Headrick of Springerfield, Arizona and Milton Headrick and wife, Helen of Crandall, GA; four sisters, Peggy Kenemer and Karen Green both of Dalton, G.; Annette DeFoor and Joan Hawkins of Chatsworth, Ga.; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the
chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor George Bulson and
Rev. Randall Headrick officiating. Interment will follow in
Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony
will conclude the service.
His family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the
funeral home.
