Wanda Faye Dodson

Wanda Faye Dodson, 70, a lifelong resident of Bradley County passed away Monday, March 24, 2008 at her home.
Mrs. Dodson was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. She was a loving and kind person, always doing good deeds for her family and neighbors. She enjoyed cooking, canning and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Arthur Poe and Lula Hood Poe, daughter; Stephanie Allmon, her first husband Robert Allmon who was the father of her children, her second husband, William "Bill" Dodson who passed away in September of 2007.
She is survived by her daughter; Linda Presswood of Charleston, son; Robert Allmon, Jr. of Charleston, grandson; Lynn Presswood of Cleveland; stepchildren, Mr. & Mrs. John Dodson, Mr. & Mrs. Bob Dodson, Mr. & Mrs. Tom Dodson and Mr. & Mrs. Greg Dodson; several step grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday March 26, 2008 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Earl Farris and Reverend Sam Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the services.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
