Hazel Pauline Dockery

April 9, 1921 — January 23, 2008

Hazel Pauline Dockery, 86, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2008 in a local hospital.

She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Dockery was employed for many years by Magic Chef (Maytag) and Cooke Manufacturing Company.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sandle Dockery; parents, John Emery Culberson and Siddie Armanda Davenport Culberson; brother, Lake Culberson; sisters, Ethel Chancey, Myrtle Corn and Wanda Cannon.

She is survived by her son, Larry Dockery and daughter-in-law, Gerry of Cleveland; 1 grandchild, Jennifer Brusky and husband, Brad; 3 great grandchildren: Ali Curtis, Emma Brusky and Claire Brusky and brother, Howard Culberson all of Cleveland; special friends: Jim and Joan Gold, Faye Nichols and Louise Parker and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon, Friday, January 25, 2008 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Allan Lovelace officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.

Her family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
