J Robert 'Bob' Crawford

J. Robert "Bob" Crawford, 67, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at his residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an Eagle Scout with troop 111 in Dayton. He was a former member of the Cleveland Elks Club and the Cleveland Country Club. He was a former pharmacist at Moore's Drug Store and Medical Center Pharmacy and later founded and owned and operated Crawford's Pharmacy until his retirement. Bob was always willing to lend a helping hand to others.

He was the son of the late Robert Henry Crawford and Ruth Woosnam Crawford.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jackie Crawford of Cleveland; one brother, Eddy Crawford of Pawleys Island, S.C.; special nephews and nieces and spouses: David and Molly Norton of Cleveland, TN, Dan Norton of Chattanooga, Doyle and Pennie Hundley of Pickens, S.C., Mike and Judy Hundley of Columbia, S.C., Stan and Denise Norton of Augusta, GA, Teresa and Herb Gravitt of Jasper, TN and Donna McDaniel of Ooltewah; two sisters-in-law: Janice Norton of Ooltewah and Jean Norton of Chattanooga; several great nieces, great nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Ralph Green, a life long friend and educator, officiating. A graveside service will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bryan Mowery officiating. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hill, Scott Hunt, Jeff Wolfenden, Joe Moore, Dale Evans, Jim Floyd, Jimmy Hill and Dennis Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Dan Vance, Gary Mayo, Frank Faulk, Joe Burns, Mike Stanfill, David Rongey, Jeffrey Sellins, Harlan White and current and former employees of Crawford and Medi-Mart Pharmacy.

His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
