Clarence Elmer Cranfield, 63, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008 at the family residence. He was a cabinet maker with Collegedale Case Works for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie A. Cranfield, son, Edward Cranfield and sisters, Lovetta Clonts and Sandra Davis.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Shirley Davis Cranfield of Cleveland; mother Mary Cranfield of Cleveland; three children and spouses: Tim and Crystal Cranfield of Cleveland, Karla and Tim Reid of Cohutta, GA and Karen and Tony Weaver of Cleveland; seven grandchildren: Coty Cranfield and Rachal, Talyr Alexander, Casey Caldwell, Madison Reid, Paige Weaver, Spencer Cranfield and Alison Cranfield; one great-grandchild, Zachary Cranfield; four sisters: Brenda Cranfield of Decatur, TN, Marchetta Scoggins and Becky Milsap both of Cleveland and Phyllis Davis of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2008 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery in Soddy Daisy.
His family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the funeral home.
