Paul Kenneth Cloer, 68, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2007 at his home.
He was a member of Waterville Baptist Church.
Paul joined the U.S. Navy at an early age. He was an iron worker for many years and owned and operated a lawn and landscaping business in Florida for 18 years until his health began to fail him. He loved fishing, boating and hunting with his wife. He was loved and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Cloer and Lola Cheek Cloer; sister, Faye Sawyer and brother-in-law, Norman Greber.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Greber Cloer of Cleveland; brother, James Cloer and wife, Connie of Monteagle, Sherden and wife, Faye of Cleveland, brothers-in-law, Clyde Sawyer of Chattanooga and Earl and Lois Greber of Spencerville, OH; sisters-in-law, Shirleen Greber of Lima, OH and Marie and Bob Hirn of Delphos, OH; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Joe Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dale Pendergrass, Corey Pendergrass, Earl Greber, Bob Hirn, Gary Auberry and Frank Reece serving as pallbearers. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony.
His family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
