Reba Callahan

Reba Callahan, age 87, a resident of Charleston, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2007 at a local hospital. She was a member of Union Grove Church of God of Prophecy in Charleston. She was preceded in death by her parents, Honor McKinley Burgess and Florence Louisinda Stevison Burgess; husband, Willy Elmer Callahan; son, Willie Lee Callahan; grandson, Ricky Lee Callahan; brothers: Ray Burgess, Joe Burgess and Prince Burgess.

She is survived by her son, Donald Joe Callahan and wife, Jerry Callahan; daughter-in-law, Shirley Callahan; grandchildren: Ronald Callahan and wife, Lynn Callahan, Tina Callahan, Dorisa Holmes and husband, Victor Stamey, Clyde Callahan and wife, Celia Callahan, Vickie Edgemon, Robin Withrow, Timmy Callahan and Ginger Callahan; sisters: Jimmy Lou Cates and Inez Taylor.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Reverend David Dodson officiating. Interment will follow at Union Grove Church of God Cemetery with Ronald Callahan, Clyde Callahan, Victor Stamey, Timmy Callahan, Brandon Callahan and Timothy Callahan serving as pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
