Linda Sue Bryant, 58, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, April 6, 2007, at Memorial Hospital North Park in Hixson following a short illness. She was a 1965 graduate of Bradley High School. After retiring from TVA in 1994 as a contracts clerk she worked for Maytag as a customer service representative for ten years until her illness forced her to retire.
She was an active member of Cleveland Christian Fellowship
for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Edward and Dell Simms Gregory.
She is survived by husband, Gregg Bryant; stepdaughter
Beverly Bryant; brother, James R. "Tiny" Gregory and wife Gale;
sister Christina Strong all of Cleveland; half brother Ed Gregory of New Orleans, LA; nephews, Brandon Gregory and Shawn Beshears; nieces, Cheri Adams, Nicole Kinyon, Natalie Golemon all of Cleveland and Kim Thorn of Texas.; also several great nieces and nephews; also very special friends Ken and Linda Reams, Kenny and Linda Ray and Chuck and Vickie Meeker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Cleveland Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Mark Strickland officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Pallbearers will be Doug Bullard, Frank Wheatley, Kenny Ray, Ken Reams, Chuck Meeker and Bob Oliver.
Her family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Monday at Fike Funeral Home.
