Edith Heifner Boring, 89, a resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday June 7, 2008 at the family residence. She was a member of North Cleveland Baptist Church for over 60 years.

Mrs. Boring was in the wholesale manufacturing business with her husband, Roy, for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hiram C. Heifner and Chassie E. Ruth Heifner; brothers, W.F. "Pete" Heifner, Everett Heifner and Woodrow Heifner; sisters, Vietta Cross and Jessie Morgan.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Roy Lee Boring of Cleveland; son, Thomas L. Boring (Linda) of Cleveland; daughter, Elaine Curtis (Terry) of Cleveland; grandchildren, Brad Boring, Jamie Curtis, Dustin Curtis (Rhiannon) all of Cleveland; great grandchild, Nazareth Curtis of Cleveland; many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday June 9, 2008 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Brad Boring, Dustin Curtis, Philip Reagan, George Cross, Bobby Morgan and John Heifner serving as pallbearers. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
