Kenneth Cecil Berry, 72, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday November 9, 2008 in a local hospital. He was of the Methodist faith.
Mr. Berry was employed with Hardwick Stove Co. as an accounting clerk for 28 years. He served with the United States Navy for four years, from 1954 to 1958.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Miller Herbert Berry and Lola Keasler Berry and one sister Jean Webb.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Elizabeth "Betsy" Hardwick Berry of Cleveland; daughter, Julia "Julie" Berry Gribben and her husband Thomas Patrick Gribben, III of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Samuel Thomas Gribben and John Patrick Gribben of Chattanooga; sisters, Billie Levi of Soddy Daisy and Roberta Lyle of Athens; sister in-law and brother in-law, Lyle and Mary Ann Hardwick; nephew, George Clayton Hardwick; several other nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday November 12, 2008 in the Hilcrest Memorials Gardens with Pastor Debbie Stokes officiating.
