Curtis Wayne Belcher, age 68, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2007. He was of the Methodist faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Belcher was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. He was an avid fan of high school wrestling and football. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Belcher and Lizzie Bivens Belcher; sister, Bobbie Nell Lockmiller; brothers: Jerry Belcher and J.B. Belcher.
He is survived by his wife, Judy A. Belcher of Cleveland; daughter, Cindy Brown of KY; sons: Curtis Belcher and wife, Jackie of Old Fort, Brent Belcher and wife, Johnanna of Cleveland; grandchildren: Brandi Belcher, Breanna Belcher, Luke Belcher all of Cleveland and Ariel Womac and Brittany Womac of Old Fort; great grandson, Bryson Hoover of Cleveland; sisters: Juanita Cooper, Joyce McConnell, Cora Lee Rose and brother, Albert Belcher all of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Bishop Guilford Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
