Nannie Irene Baldwin

Nannie Irene Baldwin, age 74, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, December 4, 2006 at a local healthcare facility. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Baldwin worked as a seamstress at American Uniform Company and later was employed at Peytons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike Carter and Annie Mae Cavett Carter; brother, Buck Carter; sisters: Nell Davis and Lucy Whiteside.

She is survived by two children, Kathy Simpson and husband, Doug Simpson of Cleveland, Eddie Baldwin and wife, Marie Baldwin of Old Fort, TN; grandchildren: Casey Simpson, Nicole Baldwin, Jason Baldwin and Kristy Wright; four great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Sellers and Lillie Carter both of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Fike Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth Stansberry and Pastor Guinn Green officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jason Baldwin, Zac Wright, Christopher Baker, Adam Franklin, Caleb Lane, Josh Braman, Cody Hannah and Jeremy Raper serving as pallbearers.
