Doris E. Adams, age 74, a resident of Bradley County, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2006 at her residence. She was of the Church of God faith. After 35 years of service, she retired from American Lava of Chattanooga.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Dedmon and Ollie Taylor Dedmon; her husband, William Robert Adams; two brothers, Jim Dedmon and Charles Dedmon.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Chris Adams and Beth Adams of Charleston; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Keith and Nathan Keith of Cleveland; four grandchildren: Brittany Whaley, Jason Keith, Brooke Adams and Kayla Adams; two great grandchildren: Colby Keith and Megan Keith.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2006 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Bishop officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park with Joe Barrett, Ray McKay, Scotty Burns, Wayne Manis, Donald Wilson and Keith Shell serving as pallbearers.
