Afton “Bill” Kile Jr, Passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. Afton was born on January 12, 1937 to Afton Kile Sr. and Francis Jackson Kile. Bill had been in the car business all his life from A.W. Kile Motors to Bill Kile Used Cars to Elder-Kile Chevrolet to Kile Dodge Chrysler Plymouth Jeep, currently Kile Motors, Inc. Bill was a leading figure at Eagle’s Chapel for the last 25 years. He was known for his charitable contributions and involvement throughout the community. His greatest delight was spending time with his great grandchildren, they were the Loves of his life. He will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Joey Lawson-Keil; Stepmother Agnus Kile; and siblings Buddy Kile, Janice Clark and Elaine Roderick. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Myrtle Kile; son Dale Kile; granddaughter Stacie (Stacey) Guffey; great grandchildren, Hailey, Lylia, and Brenden Guffey; siblings David Kile, Diane (Bruce) Congioloso, Kathy Kile, Michael Kile, along with cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 21, 2023 in the chapel of Fike Randolph and Son Funeral Home, 2415 N. Ocoee St, Cleveland, Tennessee. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday 12:00-2:00 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a local charity.
