Brenda R. Walden

Mrs. Brenda R Walden, of Cleveland, TN passed away at her residence with her husband William Walden by her side, Wednesday, June 12, 2024, after a long hard battle. She was 56 years old. 

 Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Poole Funeral Home at Fike Chapel, with the Pastor Nathan William officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

 Mrs. Walden was born September 12, 1967, in Ann Arbor Michigan to Kenneth and Marjorie Yvonne Lawhorn. She has four beautiful grandchildren who she adored and spoiled. She was a CNA at Life Care Centers of America in Cleveland. The faculty there would call her “Sargent Brenda” due to her ability to take charge, but care for her patients. She spoiled her daughter, but with a stern gentle hand. Brenda loved the ocean but preferred to venture into the mountains. Most of all she loved being out in God’s nature. Brenda had the biggest heart and loved her family with all her heart. She will be missed beyond measure.

 She is survived by her husband, William Walden; daughter, Holly Walden; stepsons, Damian Payne and Steven Payne; grandchildren, Jayden Walden, Liza Payne, Shyla Charles and Logan Payne; sister, Norma Giard, brothers, Rick Lawhorn, Michael Lawhorn, Danny Lawhorn, Kevin Lawhorn and Steven Lawhorn.
