Carolyn McCracken, 79, of Cleveland passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a member of Boanerges Baptist Church and had retired from Volunteer Energy after 25 years of service. Carolyn joins her parents, Jewel and Lutie Phillips and sisters, Julia Black and Wanda Young in heaven. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Neal McCracken; children, David McCracken and Cindy McCracken all of Cleveland, who will miss her greatly; also surviving is one brother, Charles Phillips of Crandall, GA, and one sister, Linda Morgan of Powell, TN, along with several nieces and nephews. Due to COVID-19 the family has planned a private service. The Reverend David Evans will officiate and interment will be at Union Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested all memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.
