Catherine "Katie" O'Donahue Ochsner

Catherine (Katie) O’Donahue Ochsner, 88, of Cleveland found her heavenly pot gold at the end of the rainbow Saturday, March 7, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.

Katie was born December 23, 1931 in Eau Claire, WI where she lived until early adulthood. She lived her adult life in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Chattanooga, TN and for the past 31 years in Cleveland, TN where she was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ochsner; parents, Jim O’Donahue and Hazel O’Donahue Barney; brother, Pat O’Donahue and sisters, JoAnn McGill and Marge Pederson.

Survivors include her children, Dan Wachendorfer of Palm Coast, FL, Cindy Wachendorfer (Kathy Freeman) of Chattanooga, TN and Lee Wachendorfer (Debi) of Key Largo, FL; two “special daughters”, Pam Wilcoxin and Brenda Ratcliff of Cleveland; grandchild, Donna Ruggiero (Joe) of Norfolk, VA; several nieces, nephews and sister-in-law, Jeri O’Donahue and special fur baby, Gracie.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Michelle Brewer, CNA and MJ Bartolo, RN of Hearth Hospice for their extra loving care and compassion.

There will be no formal services at this time.

The family asks the memorial be made to the Interstitial Cystitis Association, 7918 Jones Branch Drive, Suite 300 McLean, VA 22102.
