Colleen Crowe Bennett

Colleen Crowe Bennett, age 91 of Cleveland, went home to be with our Lord on January 5, 2023.

She was born in Cherokee, NC October 3, 1938 and went on to graduate from Bradley Central High School in the class of 1951. She became the loving wife of the late Don Bennett, July 5, 1966 and started her family She was a longtime member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church of Cleveland, TN.

Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, Lon & Christine Crowe; her beloved husband of 49 years, Don Bennett; son in law, Tommy Pendergrass; brothers, John Crowe, Bill Crowe, Elden Crowe, Jack Crowe, JB Crowe.

Survivors are her children, Debbie Pendergrass, Sandra Caldwell; grandchildren, Christina (John) Milen of Old Fort, Tennessee, Chris (Lindsay) Pendergrass of Trussville, Alabama, John Caldwell of Cleveland, Tennessee; great-grandchildren,Eli (McKenzie) Milen, Ian Milen, Jax Pendergrass, Ben Pendergrass, Lalanie Caldwell; sister, Betty Martin; living best friend, Dorothy Freaks. 

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, January 9, 2023 in the chapel of Fike Randolph and Son Funeral Home, 2415 N. Ocoee Street, Cleveland, Tennessee. 

The family will receive friends Monday 12-2 pm prior to the service.
